Protect your people
Remove the expectation for staff to travel to the site and investigate an alarm during the night.
When your alarm activates, you should not have to send an employee into an uncertain situation. Clear Watch securely holds your keys and sends a local, SIA-licensed officer to check the premises, manage the incident and report back.
Remove the risk from your team
Asking a manager or member of staff to attend an alarm exposes them to uncertainty, lone-working risk and disruption. They may arrive without knowing whether the cause is a fault, an open door, damage or a genuine intrusion.
Clear Watch becomes your nominated keyholder and first response. We attend with the keys, site instructions and agreed contact details needed to manage the situation properly.
A small service with a big operational benefit
Professional keyholding gives your business a safe, accountable response arrangement that remains available outside normal working hours.
Remove the expectation for staff to travel to the site and investigate an alarm during the night.
Give the alarm receiving centre a reliable responder who can attend, inspect and follow agreed instructions.
Receive the time of attendance, observations, actions, photographs and outcome in one electronic report.
Clear Watch is based in Oldham and supports businesses across our core Greater Manchester response area.
What happens during an activation
The detail is agreed for your site, but every response follows the same disciplined principle: assess, investigate safely, escalate correctly and document what happened.
Your alarm receiving centre, monitoring provider or nominated contact notifies the Clear Watch control team.
A local mobile officer is sent with controlled access to the relevant keys and site instructions.
The officer carries out an external assessment before entering, checking for damage, forced entry or other immediate hazards.
The cause is investigated where safe. Police, emergency services, contractors or client contacts are engaged in line with the agreed plan.
Where possible, the alarm is reset and the premises re-secured. A full electronic report is issued with the outcome and evidence.
What the service includes
The service is built around your premises, your alarm arrangements and the people who need to know. We agree the detail before accepting responsibility for the keys.

Clear evidence after every callout
A phone call saying “everything looks fine” is not enough. Clear Watch records the attendance, checks, actions and outcome through our operational reporting platform.
Who uses keyholding and alarm response?
The service can protect a single local site or form part of a consistent response arrangement across a wider property portfolio.
Respond to intruder, perimeter and access alarms without relying on shift managers.
Give landlords, facilities teams and occupiers one dependable out-of-hours response route.
Protect equipment, stock and operational sites when production teams are unavailable.
Keep senior staff away from uncertain alarm situations outside normal site hours.
Provide rapid site access and escalation for high-value stock and customer-facing premises.
Combine keyholding with inspections, patrols, contractor access and emergency attendance.
Straightforward onboarding
We do not simply collect a key and wait for the phone to ring. The response arrangement is documented, checked and agreed with you.
We confirm the premises, alarm arrangements, operating hours, known risks and required response coverage.
Keys and fobs are checked, uniquely referenced and placed into controlled secure storage without displaying the site address.
We document who to contact, when they should be disturbed, what authority the officer has and which contractors or emergency services may be needed.
The monitoring provider is updated, contact routes are checked and you receive confirmation that Clear Watch is ready to respond.
“Clear Watch Security provide us with out-of-hours support for our Oldham and Rochdale offices. They respond to alarm callouts and also provide a locking and unlocking service. They are a very reliable company and their staff are a pleasure to deal with.”
Local coverage, clearly agreed
Clear Watch is based in Oldham and provides keyholding and alarm response across Greater Manchester. Your attendance target is confirmed in writing before the service starts.
Within our core coverage area, the contracted response target is normally within one hour. Local attendance is often faster, but we set a realistic commitment rather than making a blanket promise that cannot be guaranteed for every location and traffic condition.
Keyholding questions answered
If your situation is more complex, speak to us. We will explain what we can take responsibility for and what information is needed from you.
Client keys are held in secure, access-controlled storage and recorded against a unique reference. Access is restricted to authorised personnel and keys are managed under controlled issue and return procedures.
The response target is confirmed before service begins and depends on the site location. Across our core Greater Manchester coverage area, the contracted attendance target is normally within one hour.
Yes. Clear Watch can be registered as the nominated keyholder with your alarm receiving centre or monitoring provider. We agree the notification and escalation details during onboarding.
The officer checks the premises, looks for the cause, resets the alarm where authorised, re-secures the site and issues an electronic report. Any recurring fault can then be passed to your alarm engineer.
The officer remains at a safe position and follows your escalation plan. This may include contacting the police, your nominated manager, an emergency repair contractor or another approved service. The officer does not enter an unsafe situation unnecessarily.
Only when the agreed instructions require it. With the right authority, routine false alarms can be checked, reset and closed without waking a manager. Significant incidents are escalated immediately.
Yes. Keyholding and alarm response can be combined with mobile patrols, lock and unlock visits, contractor access and vacant property inspections under one managed service.
