Following on from our previous Post we have been told that our community patrols are making a huge difference for the residents of Chadderton.
We have decided to roll this on for another 2 weeks.
The residents have told us that they have seen our security cars in the area and it has re-assured them.
There are older residents who don’t usually go out much and felt like the crime was increasing in the area and they were on edge. We have re-assured them that we are trying to do our best.
We encourage all residents to report crimes to the Police. We are there just as a deterrent and will help where we can.
